Always putting her best foot forward, Rihanna’s upcoming album is sure to be a hit.

The “Umbrella” singer, who channeled her personal drama into her “Rated R” album, recently told Elle that she’s a much happier person now, and even gushed a bit about her new baseball player beau, Matt Kemp.

Famous songwriter, Sean Garrett, who’s been in the studio with the Barbadian beauty as of late, says her stable state of mind reflects her new music.

Opening up to MTV News, Garrett said, “I can definitely say that her album is definitely gonna be way more exciting, happy. I hope she doesn’t mind me saying this. I love Rihanna. She’s fun, she’s like a sister, and I tend to think she doesn’t really take herself too seriously. And I think that’s what this album is gonna be about.”

And of the domestic violence incident involving Ri-Ri’s ex, Chris Brown, Sean added, “That’s just life. But I’m just happy to see her back. And I can definitely say the records that we’ve been working on are very positive and very explosive. Heavy in the club.”
