Going against all the rave these days, Miley Cyrus recently admitted, “I hate vampires.”

The “Party in the USA” singer is not only uninterested in the “Twilight” hoopla, she says she doesn’t even know about HBO’s hit show “True Blood.”

Miley tells, “We don’t have HBO,” adding that her mom only gets “about 10 channels” at their house.” We hope the vampires aren’t listening to this!

In other news, Miss Cyrus has been sharing info about her latest album, “Can’t Be Tamed” and of the song “Liberty Song” she told MTV News she tried to combine a very serious topic with a lighter sound.

“I wrote it for women that feel like they’re stuck in abusive relationships, but it’s a dance song,” she said. “So you think that must be kind of a sad ballad, but it’s a party song. … It’s about breaking free.”

Miley added that the album is “about freeing yourself from anything you think is holding you back.”

Always putting her best foot forward, Rihanna’s upcoming album is sure to be a hit.

The “Umbrella” singer, who channeled her personal drama into her “Rated R” album, recently told Elle that she’s a much happier person now, and even gushed a bit about her new baseball player beau, Matt Kemp.

Famous songwriter, Sean Garrett, who’s been in the studio with the Barbadian beauty as of late, says her stable state of mind reflects her new music.

Opening up to MTV News, Garrett said, “I can definitely say that her album is definitely gonna be way more exciting, happy. I hope she doesn’t mind me saying this. I love Rihanna. She’s fun, she’s like a sister, and I tend to think she doesn’t really take herself too seriously. And I think that’s what this album is gonna be about.”

And of the domestic violence incident involving Ri-Ri’s ex, Chris Brown, Sean added, “That’s just life. But I’m just happy to see her back. And I can definitely say the records that we’ve been working on are very positive and very explosive. Heavy in the club.”

Becoming more and more comfortable with each movie role, Kristen Stewart recently opened about how she needed music to get into Bella Swan mode for “New Moon” but not for “Eclipse.”

“I always listen to music, but I had particular music that I listened to on ‘New Moon,’ but didn’t really have to for ‘Eclipse,’ ” she told MTV News over the weekend. “I just listened to my normal music. Bella’s less tortured. She’s less conflicted. I mean … it’s the most she’s conflicted about the love triangle [but] that happens sort of at the end.”

Ms Stewart added, “The main conflict is the danger and the fact that she’s losing her human life. That her family’s gonna soon maybe go away. When I was doing ‘New Moon,’ I needed the music and I needed my iPod all the time and I needed to be in my own little head, but in ‘Eclipse’ it was more about the story was just different.”

As for her choice when it comes to playlists, Kristen dished, “[I've] probably [been listening to] a little bit of both [Miley and GaGa]. But I don’t know, ‘The Climb’ is my theme song — and I’m sticking to it.”
