Corey Haim Dies Of Overdose

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Corey Haim, a Hollywood teen star of the 1980s who became as famous for his struggles with substance abuse as his acting, died in Los Angeles of an apparent drug overdose, police said on Wednesday. He was 38.
Haim, who rose to the fame alongside fellow teen star Corey Feldmanand became known for his hard partying ways, was pronounced dead at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in the Los Angeles suburbof Burbank early on Wednesday, according to Los Angeles police.
“It was an apparent overdose,” said Sergeant Frank Albarren of the Los Angeles Police Department’s North Hollywood Station, adding the “type of medication” was unknown.

Corey Haim I liked him in all the movies he was in however I did not really care for the show the two coreys. And when he was on the Opie and Anthony show he seemed really weird. It is a shame that substance abuse took his life. I pray that my life will never get so bad that I have to turn to meth. I know from watching the TV show he was molested and some other stuff when he was a child, there is no one that deserves to go through that. I will pray for the family as the will be the ones most devistated by the loss. RIP Corey

Sawadee Khrab! I’m about to go to Bangkok and I’m very excited about my trip. Already booked the flight to Suvamabhumi Airport and from there I’ll go travel around Koh Chang and of course stay a couple of days in Bangkok, I found your great site on Msn and it seems that you know a lot about Bangkok City. Feldman’s comments of the last few days (even considering his ‘grief’) should see him get kicked in nuts (IF he had any).
He’s whining that the people around him didn’t look out for Haim. Ahhh… HELLO GOOFY FELDMAN… aren’t you his professed ‘BEST FRIEND!’ So wouldn’t that list INCLUDE YOU?!
Now someone close to Haim’s family sat down with his Mom as she was packing up Corey’s stuff to give to a shelter saying ‘selling stuff on eBay is my job’ (yeah, Corey hung out with some high-end folk), so Corey’s stuff is going up on eBay to raise money to ship his body back to Toronto for planting.
Then Feldman makes a plea to other ‘celebs’ to ‘chip in.’
WHY?!
Haim got $500. last month from his dad to pay the rent. Yet… he STILL had $’s for drugs?!
And we’ve learned that his mom has cancer and in radiation therapy. If she still has her Canadian citizenship, why not give up sunny California, go back to Canada and have her cancer treatments for FREE!?
Feldman – you opportunistic, media-w h o r e, Haim family… sorry about your loss but GET LOST!
As a ‘BEST FRIEND’ Feldman… YOU SUCK (as you do an Actor, person, and otherwise). Want to point fingers… start in front of a mirror.
